Erik Magnussen
(1940)
Erik Magnussen was educated at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts has
his own design studio. He has become one of Denmark's most prominent and
versatile designers. His works - ranging from tableware to furniture,
lamps and high-tech products - are all characterized by simplicity and
functional elegance.
For a while he worked as a lecturer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine
Arts. Erik Magnussen has been awarded several design prizes, and his products
are exhibited in museums worldwide.
