Sigurd Persson, (1914-2003).
Sigurd Persson began as a silversmith, but over a long path constantly tried new genres and among other things, worked as a glass artist, designer and sculptor. During the 50 – and 60-century everyday industrial design (cutlery, pots, elegant brooms), for 70 – and 80-century glass for Kosta, colorful and sculptural.
Continuously he has exhibited exclusive jewelry in silver, gold and precious stones, as well as boxes, cans and boxes. Sigurd Persson’s work is characterized by a strong sense of form and vital renewal. He is also the designer behind the Swedish coin “femkronan”.
