Zilenzio and White Arkitekter introduce Hikari: A pendant lamp that balances light and acoustics

Zilenzio, one of the leaders in calming workplace solutions, announces the launch of Hikari, an acoustic pendant lamp designed in collaboration with the renowned White Arkitekter. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese word for “light”, Hikari embodies clarity and calm.

Hikari blends lighting and sound absorption, addressing the need for both acoustic and visual comfort in modern interiors. Inspired by Gothic arches, its sleek form features upward-reaching lines that evoke serenity and openness, making it an ideal choice for workplaces, hospitality environments, and other flexible spaces.

“Hikari is our first collaboration with Zilenzio, where we have aimed to create a lamp that subtly combines light and sound absorption. It is designed to define zones and create a sense of intimacy without adding physical barriers, making it ideal for modern and flexible environments. With its calm design language, Hikari is crafted to blend into its surroundings and enhance the overall atmosphere rather than dominate the space,” says Olof Nordenson, product designer at White Arkitekter.

This design is the result of a creative partnership, where Zilenzio’s expertise in acoustics meets White Arkitekter’s design expertise. Designed with adaptability in mind, Hikari offers:
* Impressive acoustic test results through sound-absorbing materials, fostering a calm atmosphere in open-plan offices, meeting rooms, and breakout areas.
* Customizable fabrics from an extensive selection, to suit diverse interiors.
* Three different sizes, with or without light fixtures.
* Three adjustable color temperatures for tailored lighting.
* Dimmable functionality for adaptable ambiance.

“We’re proud to launch Hikari with White Arkitekter. It’s a perfect example of how we blend design and functionality to create better work environments. We hope it brings both comfort and inspiration to its users,” says David Ornstein, marketing manager at Zilenzio.

Hikari represents Zilenzio’s commitment to functional yet beautiful design, where science and innovation unite to enhance well-being in shared spaces. By combining acoustic performance with minimalist aesthetics, Hikari enhances the experience of light, sound, and space in perfect harmony.
