Alexander has based his design on the classic café chair to make sure the result will work well in a wide range of settings and situations.

Saga is a family of chairs that all share the same basic design, but where a choice between five different backrests creates a variety of expressions and offers different options in terms of sitting comfort. Alexander has based his design on the classic café chair to make sure the result will work well in a wide range of settings and situations.

Saga is stackable and all the backrests are designed so that the chair can easily be hung from a table or desk to make cleaning easier.

The choice of backrest means comfort can always be adapted to the user. For example, the lower backrest options may be ordered for primary school use to maximise comfort for children in that age group.

The various backrest alternatives also pave the way for a host of different furnishing expressions in either an eclectic mix of styles and colour combinations, or matched to create a harmoniously uniform appearance.

Alexander Lervik is one of Swedens most well known designers, collaborating with a number of national and international producers, including Moroso, Zero, Designhouse Stockholm and Johanson. Though his main focus is lighting, furniture and product design, he also creates concepts for hotel and restaurant interiors and collaborate with fashion brands.
