The Captain’s Bridge is Malmö’s busiest pedestrian and cycle path with over 10.000 pedestrians and cyclists per day
The 50-year-old bridge was in dire need of renovation and the decision was taken to demolish the old and build a new one that is now built.
Along with the bridge, ellipses in two different sizes are floating, fitted with LED and placed at 6 m high poles in carbon fiber. The fixtures are made of carbon fiber as well, made in the Ateljé.
