A presentation of Carl Malmsten’s life’s work as a designer of note, which includes a wide range of classic furniture, original drawings and many examples of his interior designs. The exhibition also looks at Carl Malmsten’s work as a pedagogue, featuring student work from Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies, the school Capellagården and the instrument making school Musikinstrumentakademien. These are proof of how the craftsmanship and creativity of younger generations continue to develop in the spirit of Carl Malmsten. The exhibition, presented in cooperation with the Stiftelsen Siv & Carl Malmsten Memorial Foundation, also features a studio, where visitors are invited to try woodworking under professional guidance.
