The team behind the new design fair at Bella Center, DesignTrade Copenhagen, wants to strengthen the fair’s Scandinavian profile and is entering into a collaboration with Swedish trade association Presentgrossisternas Företagare-Förening (PUFF).
PUFF, which has more than 900 members in the gift, interior and design industry, considers the collaboration to be of relevance to members, the fair and to the industry trade:
“We have chosen to work with DesignTrade, as we have many members who sell their products throughout the whole of Scandinavia, and the fair offers a new opportunity to meet Danish stores and retailers. PUFF’s members are Swedish wholesalers and manufacturers, and their presence at DesignTrade provides the fair with a more complete Scandinavian offering”says Göran Brandt from PUFF, who continues:
“Design Trade creates a new trade fair in the sector in which PUFF’s membership is active and we hope that it will be another successful meeting place for the industry. It is also of great benefit to both exhibitors and visitors that DesignTrade is located in the Danish capital of Copenhagen, as it means that more visitors can easily travel to and from the fair. ”
DesignTrade welcomes the cooperation with PUFF, and hopes that it will draw both Swedish exhibitors and visitors to the fair in August:
“The partnership with PUFF will support our ambition that DesignTrade should be a meeting place for Scandinavian design and have a strong international profile. PUFF’s many members will be able to contribute to the fair with new products and thus new, exciting content, so visitors will be able to experience a wider range. It is also interesting to be able to bring the Scandinavian design industry together, for networking, sharing know-how and cross-border inspiration, “adds sales and marketing director, Jacob Schmidt.
