Gärsnäs has been commissioned to furnish one of six guest accommodations at the Institut Suédois located in the Marais district in Paris. The rooms in the beautiful 16th-century palace provide a temporary home from home for Swedish-based researchers, writers and artists. The renovation project, which goes by the name “Hem x 6” emphasises sustainability, innovation and artistry in the manufacturing process. Gärsnäs was chosen as one of several environmentally aware and future-focused companies to create an abode. Färg & Blanche, who have made many models for Gärsnäs, designed and created the interior, which will be inaugurated 7 September.
