“We came up with the idea for Hood when we moved to our new studio,” says Petrus Palmér from Form Us With Love. “We needed a flexible light source and sound absorbent above our conference table as the studio is open-plan and with a very high ceiling.” Hood is an ideal solution for these open plan environments, functioning both as a light source and a sound barrier, helping to create a more intimate space in the contemporary office landscape. Its modular structure means that Hood can grow according to need. Hood is made up of three different types of modules in moulded polyester felt: corner, side and top panels, creating a structure that measures from 1200×1200 mm up to 1800×3000 mm at its biggest size. Hood is equipped with LED and it holds a unique spot in the market place.

“Vi fick idén till Hood när vi behövde en ljudabsorbent över vårt konferensbord i den nya studion”, säger Petrus Palmér från designgruppen Form Us With Love. “Vi gjorde en första prototyp och insåg att vi även kunde tillföra ett behagligt ljus.” Hood är en idealisk lösning för dagens många öppna kontorslandskap, eftersom den fungerar både som ljuskälla och ljudabsorbent. Den skapar intima utrymmen och dess modulära struktur möjliggör att Hood kan växa eller krympa vid behov. Armaturen består av tre olika slags moduler gjorda av formad polyesterfilt: hörn-, mitt- och toppsektioner, vilka kan skapa en struktur som mäter allt från 1200×1200 mm till 1800×3000 mm. Hood är bestyckad med LED och fyller en unik plats på marknaden.
