John – an easy chair for all occasions and needs
Patient & nursing rooms demand for care and knowledge about man. It must be understood how a few centimetres difference in a seat height, a material not carefully chosen or a weak contrast between colours might be essential for the furniture´s function. Peter Andersson shows what we mean. His challenge was to create comfortable seating for people with disabilities, without sacrificing aesthetics. The easy chair John is the result.

Peter Andersson is an award winning designer, educated at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts & Design, where he also taught for some time. His design is characterised as uncomplicated and with a humorous twist.
