Libreria, designed by Folkform, has a powdercoated steel construction and the glass globe is made of opaque glass. Originally Libreria was designed for an exhibition held in Milano 2017 in an old bookbinders.
Folkform
is a collaboration between designers Anna Holmquist and Chandra Ahlsell. Founded in 2005, the studio has become known for its conceptual furniture and product design. They first entered the public spotlight with their experimental work with materials, especially masonite where flowers and plants are pressed into the boards-giving an entirely new character.
Folkform has since become an international name, receiving several prestigious design awards. Their work can be found in the permanent design exhibition at National Museum in Stockholm and in the National Museum of Art and Architecture in Oslo, among others.
