Republic of Fritz Hansen presents a limited edition of the Swan™ chair with a production run of only 300 chairs all in all. For the first time ever, the Swan chair now comes in nubuck leather in either dusty rose or lyme grass. This new version adds a new dimension to the chair with an exclusive, vivid and warm expression.
Nubuck is natural leather with a velvet-like touch that provides optimal seating comfort as well as a silky, soft surface. It is the highest quality of our leather, and it gives the Swan an ever-changing look, as the structure of the nubuck looks different depending on the viewing angle and the light in the room. The two pastel colours have been created exclusively for these two limited editions and are hand-picked by the Fritz Hansen design team. We call it the Fritz Hansen’s Choice Swan™.
