About Poul Henningsen:
Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was a Danish designer, architect, and cultural critic renowned for his innovative approach to lighting design. Often referred to as PH, he is best known for his iconic lamp designs created in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. Henningsen’s designs were deeply influenced by his desire to create glare-free, harmonious lighting. His breakthrough came with the PH lamp series, which used multiple concentric shades to distribute light evenly and reduce glare.
