The collaboration between Färg & Blanche and Johanson continues with the introduction of Norma during the Stockholm Furniture Fair.
Norma is a very versatile sofa and armchair series – with a look that can change completely, depending on the colour and fabric choices. Its signature is the three fabric sections, put together using a layering principle. The idea is based on the concept of using blankets and throws on sofas to create contrasts or a differ-ent image. Norma’s look can vary greatly depending on whether one, two or three different materials and colours are chosen.
Emma and Fredrik say: “To us, the series has a feminine feel with a strong voice. It can be simple or extravagant depending on how you choose to dress it. We are looking forward to seeing how many different versions of Norma we will be meeting.”
The name of the series is inspired by the dancer Norma Miller, who was Frankie Manning’s Lindy Hop partner in, for example, the legendary 1941 film Helzapoppin’.
The series is the second collaboration between Jo-hanson and Färg & Blanche and a worthy successor to the popular Frankie series.
