Global business is steadily increasing for Offecct. This is why the management team has chosen to strengthen and develop the entire organisation. All with the aim of meeting expected increases in sales volumes.
“We now have a far stronger organisation which will lead us into the next growth stage,” says Kurt Tingdal, CEO of Offecct.
DURING THE PAST year Offecct has worked hard to build ”the future” Offecct. This autumn, Offecct acquired the neighbouring property at its premises in Tibro, which is now being rebuilt for the expansion. When the project is finished Offecct possesses an area of nearly 20,000 square metres total, almost doubling the current size.
MAJOR INVESTMENTS HAVE ALSO been made in Offeccts meeting places in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Milan. In December, a showroom is opening in Gothenburg, and in March next year Stockholm’s showroom will move to Lilla Bantorget. In conjunction with Salone del Mobile 2017 Offecct will open its new showroom in Milan.
MEANWHILE THE ORGANISATION HAS been strengthened primarily in the areas which include marketing, sales and support.
The new position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) has also been created in Tibro, and Christina Björklund, formerly CEO of Hallpressen, has now been recruited to the post and is responsible for day-to-day operations. This means that CEO Kurt Tingdal can focus fully on corporate and business development. The goal is to create an even stronger global brand in the field of furniture and design for creative and social meeting places.
”Offecct is at a stage of growth. Our products and services are in demand worldwide. For our customers, not least architects, we will continue to be the best at presenting solutions that are smart, eco-wise and aesthetically appealing,” says Kurt Tingdal.
