Today, we’re reintroducing the Experiment Chair by Finnish designer Yrjö Kukkapuro. Timeless, bold, and as compelling as the day it was created in 1982, Experiment Chair demonstrates all the ergonomic qualities and extraordinary structural detail Kukkapuro is famed for, embodying a fearless postmodern aesthetic that hasn’t lost any impact. Faithful to the original, Experiment Chair features the same decorative armrests; with red symbolizing fire, green representing trees, and blue denoting waves on a lake. It has been Hem’s privilege to work alongside Yrjö Kukkapuro to reintroduce the Experiment Chair to a new generation.
