3daysofdesign 2026: Ukurant Spotlights Craft and Material Experimentation in Copenhagen

Ukurant 2026 exhibition installation at Fabrikken of Art & Design, Copenhagen.

During this year’s 3daysofdesign, Ukurant returned to Fabrikken of Art & Design in Copenhagen, presenting a lineup of emerging designers whose work pushed against the established boundaries of craft, material and tradition.

Ukurant celebrated experimental approaches to craft, material and tradition, offering young designers a platform and spotlight to present their work and push the boundaries of the established design scene.

Whether in unconventional ways or in tribute to past generations, Ukurant presented new perspectives in the world of design and showcased prospective design by emerging talents.

The 2026 edition took place at Fabrikken of Art & Design in Copenhagen. With its many studios serving as a daily gathering point for creatives across ages, experiences, and disciplines, Fabrikken embodied the core of Ukurant: a commitment to strong communities and experimental practice. The exhibition placed a strong emphasis on the making of the pieces – unfolding the processes, experiments, and considerations that shaped them. It highlighted the craftsmanship, care, and thoughtful effort behind each piece, giving insight into the work that brought the designs to life.
