Check out the exercise facility Kotten

The Swedish architecture firm Tengbom have been nominated for the award ”Årets Bygge” (2016 best build building) by Svensk Byggtjänst and the magazine Byggindustrin. The award gives great attention to quality, collaborations, economy and form in architectural projects.

Tengbom’s exercise facility Kotten was build after the firm won an assignment contest in 2013. It is located in Kungälv outside of Gothenburg. “We had an idea to make an iconic building that would symbolize the great outdoors and exercise” says architect Christofer Ödmark.

The winner of ”Årets Bygge” will be decided on the 9th of March.
