ECHO, a new exhibition platform for Scandinavian design
Opens February 3–6, 2026, on Skeppsholmen in central Stockholm.
Founded by Karin Sköldberg, ECHO provides a physical meeting place where design companies and designers present their latest work to journalists, architects, and design professionals.
The exhibition occupies a former cannon workshop at Slupskjulsvägen 20–22 on Skeppsholmen, offering approximately 400 square meters of exhibition space. The venue’s location next to ArkDes and Moderna Museet, with views of Saltsjön, establishes ECHO within Stockholm’s cultural district.
Confirmed exhibitors include Bemz, DUX, JOY Objects/Fredrik Paulsen, Kähler, Ogeborg, Staffan Holm Studio, Anki Gneib, Mia Cullin, and Solid Space Studio. The platform features ECHO Talks curated by The New Era Magazine, alongside architecture breakfasts, press events, and evening programming.
International chef Mathias Dahlgren serves as catering partner, while Trendgruppen PR handles international media relations and Swedish press coordination. Following the Stockholm edition, ECHO will hold a second exhibition in Copenhagen on June 10–12, 2026.
ECHO was originally conceived as a complement to Stockholm Furniture Fair, aiming to strengthen Stockholm’s position as a design destination. The platform continues this mission independently after Stockholm Furniture Fair’s postponement to 2027.
