Stockholm Creative Edition 2026: A Renewed Vision for Swedish Design
Stockholm Creative Edition returns with a refined and ambitious mission to strengthen the Swedish design industry on both a national and international level.
Described by its founders as explorative, innovative, and optimistic, the 2026 edition offers a clearly defined approach to contemporary and future design.
The event will feature a curated selection of established Swedish brands alongside a dedicated exhibition focusing on emerging designers. By bringing together showrooms, studios, and experimental exhibitions, the initiative aims to showcase the immense creativity and breadth of the Swedish design scene.

Heritage Meets Innovation at Industricentralen
A central highlight of the 2026 edition is the “future-focused” exhibition held at Industricentralen. Located at the intersection of Vasastan and Hagastaden, this historic building—Sweden’s first “industrial hotel” for small businesses—was designed by Ragnar Östberg and completed in 1937.
In this unique setting, architectural heritage meets contemporary practice. The exhibition will bring together newly established designers and brands to explore more “explorative, sustainable, and innovative” ways of thinking about the future of design.
Strengthening Global Connections
To further its international reach, Stockholm Creative Edition will host an International Architects & Buyers Program starting February 2, 2026. This three-day initiative is designed to provide global professionals with in-depth insights into the Swedish design and architecture scene, fostering connections that lead to future business and creative collaborations.
“We believe a platform like this is necessary for the industry,” say founders Ulrika and Philippe Attar. “It’s about creating more meaningful relationships on both sides”.
