other circle, the cross-disciplinary design exhibition launched during Copenhagen Design Week 2025, announces its second edition for June 10–13, 2026.
The expanded platform takes place at The Lab, a historic creative venue in Copenhagen that has hosted design, art, fashion, food, and music collaborations for over thirty years.
The 3,740-square-metre exhibition space will feature curated partnerships across continents, moving beyond Scandinavian and Eurocentric perspectives.
The curatorial vision—articulated by Curation Directors Svend Jacob Pedersen and Silas Adler—centres on post-disciplinary creative collision: designers, artists, and brands working across traditional field boundaries.
“This June, we return with a platform that reaches beyond Scandinavian and Eurocentric perspectives, bringing together artists and designers from almost all continents,” says Adler. “Our goal is to inspire visitors through experiences that feel relevant, unexpected, and authentic—within a shared space that values culture over commerce.”
The exhibition is anchored by official partnerships with Anthropic, BMW, and PIN-UP Magazine—collaborations designed to bridge legacy heritage with emerging innovation. Supporting brands announced to date include Daniel Enoksson Studio, Do Blok, Esther Mahlangu, JOY OBJECTS, Fredrik Paulsen, Muuto, Nick Ross, Petit Friture, Philippe Malouin, and Pholc, among others.
The Lab’s dining programme will continue as a central element, with creative figures gathering to shape the conversation around post-disciplinary culture. The inaugural dinner this January welcomed curators and participating creatives around a 120-seat table designed by Stockholm-based JOY OBJECTS.
The curating team—Svend Jacob Pedersen, Silas Adler, Emil Eskesen (Production), Josephine Winther-Poupinel (Commercial), and Kristian Nyholm (Communications & Partnership)—positions other circle as a deliberate alternative to refined market-driven design formats. As Josephine Winther-Poupinel explains: “We’re not here to refine what’s new—we’re here to show what becomes possible when you’re not restricted by boundaries.”
