The Esedra pouf collection by Monica Förster expands with new shapes and functional details.
The Esedra ottoman is inspired by Poltrona Frau’s iconic Chesterfield sofa and merges the company’s leather craftsmanship with sensitivity and restraint of Scandinavian design tradition.
Through further exploration of this relation, we have extended the Esedra ottoman to become a family, making it possible to bring the richness of Esedra into a wider range of interiors and everyday settings.
In this extension, the focus lies on refining proportions and developing new expressions within the same conceptual framework as the original Esedra Ottoman. The design isolates and reinterprets characteristic details from Poltrona Frau’s heritage, translating them into sculptural, functional objects like smaller poufs and a table with storage.
