Skøyen Designfestival is arranged biannually in even-numbered years by Skøyen Designfestival AS, ensuring the neighborhood maintains its position as Oslo’s creative engine.
Torstein Løvlid, festival director, explains the vision:
“Skøyen Designfestival should be a place where design does, not just shows. For two days, all of Skøyen opens its doors—completely free—and we reveal the processes and professional communities based here. Design is our tool for urban development on Skøyen, and that work continues throughout the year.”
