The system
Copenhagen design studio MOEBE has developed its Storage Box into the Storage Box System, a range of four box sizes and four ready-made Storage Towers built from the same components. The idea is simple: start with a single box, use it open or with a lid, and add or stack more as needs change.
Every box follows the same construction. Oak veneer panels are held together by two square steel frames, which extend above the sides to form handles and allow the boxes to stack. Each box can be laid flat, stood upright or combined with other sizes from the system.

Four sizes
Storage Box is the original size in the system, introduced in 2020. Its full width and tall sides make room for blankets, toys, books and records. With a lid it becomes a surface beside the sofa, and with wheels it can be moved where it is needed.
Storage Box Low shares the full width of the Standard box, with lower sides that keep contents visible and easy to reach, such as books and magazines beside the sofa.
Storage Box Square combines the height of the Standard box with half its width, giving generous depth in a compact footprint. With a lid, it creates a surface for a lamp or a cup of coffee.
Storage Box Small is the most compact size, with a half-width format and low sides for smaller everyday belongings.
An optional lid is available for every size, so each box can provide open or covered storage.

From box to furniture
For those who prefer a finished arrangement, MOEBE offers four Storage Towers, pre-assembled from the same boxes:
- Storage Tower Tall combines three Standard boxes in three equally sized compartments.
- Storage Tower Medium combines all four box sizes, with full-width and half-width compartments in a single piece.
- Storage Tower Low combines two boxes of different heights in a low arrangement.
- Bedside Storage combines one Square and one Small box. The lid on top creates a surface for a lamp or a glass of water.
Each tower comes with a lid on the top box, and optional stainless steel casters with orange wheels make the towers easy to move. Every box can still be lifted out, used on its own or recombined, so the arrangement can change over time.
