MENU’s Androgyne Collection began with a versatile side table created for MENU’s former showroom café. Designed by the Copenhagen-based architect and designer Danielle Siggerud, it now encompasses a range of tables that profile simple silhouettes and refined materials – and, as its name suggests, the meeting of masculine and feminine elements.
The Androgyne Lounge Table celebrates MENU’s approach to natural materials and the age-old tradition of furniture craft smanship – and is now updated with a natural or dark stained oak or walnut tabletop and base, adding warmth to the modernist design. The option to pair a wooden base with a kunis breccia stone tabletop creates an intriguing pairing and makes it a thoroughly versatile design that doubles as bench for piles of books or statement decorations.
