INTRODUCING KLAMPENBORG
By Lassen is now launching Klampenborg for the first time – a table lamp designed by Mogens Lassen. The lamp has not previously been in production, but remained simply a line on a yellowed sheet of paper in the Lassen brothers’ archive at the Danish National Art Library in Copenhagen.
The Klampenborg lamp was designed at Mogens Lassen’s design studio in Klampenborg in 1944. With its beautifully curved shapes and soft light, the Klampenborg lamp creates an atmosphere in the room without stealing attention.
A sculptural object
On top of the lamp, there is an integrated dimmer function in three levels. The lamp is an up-light, where the light is reflected in the screen and thrown back onto the table so that you achieve a soft and mood-creating light. The Klampenborg lamp is launched in three surfaces – matt polished brass, polished steel and black matt powder coated.
