Nola’s lounger Cushy is awarded Winner of the 2019 Archiproducts Design Awards. Product design by Gripner & Hägglund for Nola.

We’re so happy to announce that our lounger Cushy, launched by Nola in the beginning of this year, is now the official winner of the Archiproducts Design Awards in 2019. Cushy can be used individually or combined with others to create a bigger, sofa-style seat.‎ Crafted with net-like construction, Cushy is light and airy in expression, making its generous proportions appear sleeker.‎ Its open construction allows rain and water to run off, making the product virtually maintenance-free.‎ Cushy has been designed as a modular component that can create long, lateral rows, attach perpendicularly. Cushy offers living room-like comfort with all the benefits of public space design.‎

Archiproducts Design Awards is an international design prize in collaboration between companies, brands and designers. The winners of the 2019 Archiproducts Design Awards have been judged after evaluating 700 products by a jury panel by leading figures in Architecture and Design. The winning entries stood out for their unique concept and excellence in creativity, technology and innovation in product design. The awards ceremony will take place on the 14th of November in Milan.
