Designers Corner 2017 Oslo – Interior Architecture Event

Designers Corner 2017 – Oslo

Designers Corner 2017 took place in Oslo on 4–5 May, marking the event’s 20th consecutive edition.

The annual gathering is organised for invited interior architects, bringing together professionals from across Norway for a combination of product presentations, industry exchange, and social programme.

For its 2017 edition, Designers Corner featured 25 producers spread across four showroom addresses in Oslo.

The selection included products presented at Stockholm Furniture Fair and Milan Design Week earlier in the year, giving participants a consolidated view of the season’s most relevant launches in furniture, lighting, and interior products.

The format — curated showroom visits rather than a conventional trade fair floor — has been central to Designers Corner’s identity since its founding. Interior architects attend by invitation, and the programme is structured to allow genuine engagement with products and manufacturers rather than high-volume visitor traffic. This makes it a working tool for professionals specifying furniture and interiors for projects in Norway and across the Nordic region.

The event, organised through designerscorner.no, represents one of the more focused professional platforms in the Norwegian design calendar — occupying a different position from larger public-facing events and directed specifically at decision-makers within the interior architecture profession.
