The Finnish sustainable holiday village of Majamaja, located in the Helsinki archipelago has won an internationally prestigious design award in London. Designed by Littow architects, the eco-friendly archipelago village in Laajasalo, Helsinki, produces both clean water and electricity on its own.
“We thought long and hard about entering this demanding competition. There are many applicants and the standard is high. We have ten years of development behind us,” said architect Pekka Littow, who attended the awards ceremony in Hackney, London.
