In 2025, Fredericia Furniture celebrates the 50th anniversary of the EJ315 Sofa, designed by Erik Ole Jørgensen in 1975. The anniversary edition merges the original design with Raf Simons’ striped Reflex textile from Kvadrat, adding a fresh dimension to the sofa’s classic expression.

Reflex by Raf Simons
The renowned Belgian designer Raf Simons is celebrated for his innovative approach to textiles and design in fashion and furniture. In collaboration with Kvadrat, he has created several highly acclaimed collections, with Reflex standing out as a distinctive series inspired by his fascination with structure and the interplay of colours.
Broad stripes and a complex weaving technique define Reflex, creating a dynamic interplay between colour and texture. These elements contribute to a contemporary aesthetic that enhances the character of classic furniture. The colour palette ranges from bold to subtle variations. On the graphic end, highlights include a buttercup yellow with a streak of camel, deep orange paired with fire-engine red, and the clean contrast white on black. For a more understated tone-on-tone look, options include shades of charcoal, graphite, cream, and light grey.
