Helsinki Design Week’s open call for events from independent event organizers ended in June. Ahead of us lies a comprehensive festival experience: Helsinki Design Week’s 10-year celebration will include over 150 events from over 100 event organizers.

“The entire event contains the abundance and multifacetedness that we had hoped to achieve for our 10th anniversary programme,”says Helsinki Design Week dierector, Kari Korkman.

In store for HDW are exhibitions, city design, seminars, movies, fashion, shopping, workshops, DIY activities, open doors and children’s events in the spirit of Helsinki Design Week’s theme, Take a Leap. This year the events will spread from Helsinki’s city centre throughout the metropolitan area, even to Sipoo.

Helsinki Design Week’s entire programme will be published on the website in August. At the end of August, the print programme will be distributed; find it at Helsinki Design Week main events, the City of Helsinki tourist office and selected distribution points around the city.
