The solo exhibition, organised by Landskrona Konstförening, will offer visitors unique insight into the design process of Jonas Lindvall. Models, sketches and prototypes sit alongside well-known pieces from his extensive back catologue of designs, taking viewers on a visual journey of a creative career that spans more than 20 years.
From the iconic Papa chair, produced by Skandiform, to Stolab’s Miss Holly chair and the Wästberg W124 lamp, both considered modern classics, all these examples and more illustrate the designer’s talent for creating new classics that reflect a spirit of modernity, whilst maintaining a profound respect for traditional craft skills and techniques. “My aim is to create objects that have a familiar quality through a connection with the history of the object, yet are – at the same time – interesting and modern.”
