We are very happy to share that our Ohm Wall lighting fixture has received Muuuz International Design Awards 2025!

Jury statement:

We have chosen to reward OHM WALL for its accuracy: a discreet, modular, eco-responsible light fixture, that combines the durability of porcelain with subtly reflected light. Its vertical design, both functional and elegant, bridges heritage and contemporary style. A timeless and demanding proposition, reflecting the essence of “slow design”.

The festive Design 2025 MIAW ceremony was held the 30 of June at the Grand Hôtel Intercontinental Opéra in Paris. Merci!

The Ohm Collection is designed by Kauppi & Kauppi.

The Ohm collection by Ifö Electric, is a grand porcelain lights collection for all kinds of situations and installations – indoors as well as outdoors. Developed to harmonize with modern architecture, as well as turn-of-the-century buildings, houses and homes. Inspired by old porcelain insulators and connection boxes, the soft curves and restrained silhouettes references the company’s century long legacy as Scandinavia’s only press porcelain producer remaining today.

The award-winning Ohm collection has become a beloved favorite amongst international architects, due to its durability, functionality and enduring design. Whenever there is a need for timeless, splash safe light fixtures with exceptionally long life-cycle, Ohm has proven to be a reliable choice. Neither wind, water, nor strong sunlight will change the glazed porcelain surface.

The collection includes splash safe light fittings for walls, ceilings, facades and even a special heat proof range for sauna interiors. The designers Kauppi & Kauppi also introduced three new assortment categories within the collection – the company´s first table lamp, first splash safe pendant and fixture mounted on arm.

Porcelain fixtures are renowned for their exceptional durability, making them ideal for reuse. Since the 1960s, Ifö Electric luminaires have been designed with modularity in mind, allowing all technical components to be disassembled, cleaned, repaired, or upgraded. This adaptability ensures that the fixtures can keep up with the evolving lighting technology and remain relevant over time.
