Norway’s Largest Design Fair 2024: Oslo Design Fair Gathers Furniture and Lighting Brands

Oslo Design Fair is Norway’s largest and most important trade fair for interior design, held annually at Norges Varemesse in Lillestrøm, just outside Oslo.

The 2024 edition runs from 28 to 30 August and brings together furniture manufacturers, lighting brands, and accessories companies from across Scandinavia and beyond.

The fair functions as Norway’s primary meeting place for professionals working across design, architecture and craft. Exhibitors range from established Scandinavian furniture brands to emerging studios, making it a broad and representative snapshot of where Nordic interior design stands at any given moment. For buyers, press, and industry professionals, Oslo Design Fair is the annual event where relationships are maintained, new collections are seen for the first time, and the direction of the market becomes visible.

Norges Varemesse in Lillestrøm has hosted the fair for years, providing a central and accessible venue that draws visitors from across Norway and from the wider Nordic region. The combination of furniture, lighting and accessories under one roof reflects the fair’s ambition to cover the full scope of the contemporary interior market rather than specialising in a single product category.

The 2024 edition continues this established format, offering three days of trade-focused programming for an industry audience invested in Norwegian and Scandinavian design.
