POMI – Luca Nichetto
Pomi will be launched at Euroluce in Milano 14-19 April.

That Luca Nichetto comes from Murano, an island near Venice, is discernible in POMI. It is
a Venetian word, meaning apple in particular and fruit in general, and POMI is certainly reminiscent
of ripe fruit hanging from the branches of a tree. The faceted surfaces in aluminium,
brass and copper capture the light and cast continually shifting reflections over the surroundings.

Att Luca Nichetto kommer från Murano, en ö nära Venedig, kan skönjas i POMI. Ordet är
venetianskt och betyder äpplen i synnerhet och frukt i allmänhet och visst påminner POMI om
mogen frukt på trädets grenar. De facetterade ytorna i lackerad aluminium, mässing respektive
koppar fångar ljuset och reflekterar omgivningen med ständig föränderlighet som följd.
