Primary Structures Launches Geometric Angle Chair with On-Demand Production
Primary Structures presents the Angle Chair, a geometric seating design manufactured in Sweden using automated production methods.
The Stockholm-based company produces the Angle Chair on-demand from their factory, eliminating overproduction and warehousing. This automated manufacturing process allows direct delivery from production to customer.
The chair is constructed from Valchromat, a contemporary sheet material produced in Portugal from recycled wood waste including chips and branches collected from forest floors. Wood fibers are dyed with organic colors and bonded with non-toxic resin that meets safety standards for children’s toys.
Primary Structures built their furniture collection around a single material approach. The company aims to provide designed furniture through simplified manufacturing processes that reduce production waste. Their on-demand model means each piece is manufactured after ordering rather than maintaining inventory.
The Angle Chair functions as both a sculptural object and practical seating. Its geometric silhouette creates visual presence while maintaining functionality for everyday use in residential and commercial spaces.
The chair features precise angles with softened corners, measuring 46 cm in width, 80 cm in height, 50 cm in depth, with a seat height of 45 cm.
