Rolo Collection design by Studio Tolvanen for Memo

Rolo  – A rhythmic ensemble of form and detail

Rolo Story
“Julie and Mika don’t have a dogma or ism. They believe good design starts from function (because products are for use)”

How can lounge furnishings influence the feeling of an environment? Rolo began with this inquiry,  and was conceived to evoke feelings such as relaxation, calm, and comfort. With these goals in mind, Studio Tolvanen’s development of Rolo started with the interior pillow – an object that conveyed these feelings – and emerged from the inside out.

Rolo Collection
Rolo is a collection of Lounge Seating, Sofas, and Tables. Its pillow-like cushions and simple curvilinear frames offer a composition of soft and hard forms that evoke comfort and openness.

Designed by Studio Tolvanen,
Mika & Julie Tolvanen, for Memo Furniture.
