New in: the Aalto foldable table
Crafted for compact living, the Aalto foldable table extends effortlessly to offer increased seating and storage space. Returning to the Artek collection, the foldable table has all the virtues of an Aalto Table – universal, durable, versatile – in a new typology. Matching perfectly with a wide variety of chairs, the Aalto foldable table will serve any number of occasions.
Available in three table top options, it serves every need: easy-to-clean hard-wearing laminate is ideal for dining, birch veneer radiates warmth, and linoleum provides a matt and soft finish.
Three limited two-tone linoleum editions are available: clay/walnut, pistachio/olive and vapour/smokey blue. Inspired by sought-after vintage foldable tables available at Artek 2nd Cycle, the two tones echo the different levels of patination observed. This colour variation occurs naturally over time as the drop leaf can be kept closed when not in use, resulting in differing levels of exposure to light and contact and a different ageing rhythm to that of the table top.
