The big event of the summer @ Blå Hallen in Höganäs

Summer design event fills Blå Hallen in Höganäs with contemporary Scandinavian creators

Blå Sommar 25

Blå Sommar 25 returns to Blå Hallen in Höganäs for two weekends (July 18-20 & 25-27), presenting handpicked artists and creators from across Scandinavia. The summer event has become a celebrated destination for design and craft enthusiasts seeking authentic Swedish creativity.

Set within the historic industrial architecture of Blå Hallen, the exhibition showcases contemporary ceramics, textiles, furniture, and applied arts from both established names and emerging talents. The venue’s raw, spacious environment provides an ideal backdrop for experiencing craftsmanship and design innovation.

Höganäs, located on Sweden’s northwest coast, has deep roots in ceramics and industrial production, making Blå Hallen a fitting location for celebrating Swedish craft traditions. The summer market atmosphere combines serious design appreciation with the relaxed energy of a coastal Swedish weekend.

Visitors can meet makers directly, purchase unique pieces, and experience how contemporary Swedish design continues to evolve while honoring traditional skills and materials.
