The Riddarholmen Bench was born from a collaboration between landscape architects Andersson & Jönsson and the Swedish National Property Board, as Nola was commissioned to create all the seating furniture for the restoration of the Riddarholmen quays. A unique project with a touch of history. The furniture has been produced using fine oak from Visingsö – once planted by Gustav III for use in shipbuilding. Gustav III was also born at Riddarholmen, which further enriches the connection between this wealth of history and our modern times.
Riddarholmen is now part of the regular range, and is a bench with a generously proportioned seating area in Sioo-varnished oak. The bench is available in two lengths, with or without a backrest and with armrests which can be placed as requested.
