The Ultima Thule shot glass celebrates Tapio Wirkkala’s 110th birthday and brings the iconic design to life in a whole new way. This unique shot glass is made from Finnish sand, giving it a beautiful, natural green hue with no added colouring. Tapio Wirkkala’s world-famous Ultima Thule glasses were inspired by the rugged beauty of Finland. Wirkkala and Iittala glassblowers spent almost a thousand hours developing a unique glassmaking technique that brought Ultima Thule’s ice-melting design language to life. The Ultima Thule series’ signature rounded base legs resemble melting ice and create a stunning visual effect. This elegant shot glass is perfect for dessert liqueurs or sake, for example, and makes for a unique table setting.
