GRÅSIPPA
“Outdoor planters have interested me as long as my interest in gardening. As a ceramicist, I’ve made many different forms in both earthenware and stoneware. Despite drainage holes and feet underneath, they never withstood Swedish winters without cracking.
Now I’ve found the optimal material – sand-cast recycled aluminum. The result is pots in three different sizes. I call them ‘Gråsippa’ after the soft flower form. The finishing collar makes the smaller pots easy to move (even with soil). The large one will probably stay where you place it – on the other hand, it can hold an entire tree. I prefer the natural grey color, but they’re also available in black.” – Signe Persson-Melin

KVADRAT Bird Bath
“The bird baths I once made in eternit have now been reborn in sand-cast aluminum. I know many have missed them.” – Signe Persson-Melin

Half GRÅSIPPA
“Inspired by my trips to Italy, we’ve split Gråsippa to create a wall planter. Suitable for embracing climbing plants and other greenery with spreading growth habits.” – Signe Persson-Melin

RELIEF Planter
“A square planter with relief pattern felt like a necessary alternative to the round Gråsippa.” – Signe Persson-Melin

POKAL Planter and Bird Bath
“A form I’ve been interested in for many years and designed in eternit, glass, and ceramics. It’s always rewarding to plant vegetation elevated from the ground.” – Signe Persson-Melin
