Scandinavian designers at work

The exhibition ‘Scandinavian designers at work’ at Buda Factory shows a combination of images of design studios, objects and prototypes of 18 designers: Knudsen Berg Hindenes, Siren Elise Wilhelmsen, Sami Kallio, Simon Key Bertman, Morten & Jonas, Katriina Nuutinen, Kristine Bjaadal, Maija Puoskari, Form Us With Love, Susanna Vento, Sophia Lithell, Kristine FIve Melvaer, Mika Tolvanen, Lars Rank, Jonas Wagell, Nathalie Lahdenmaki, Noergaard & Kechayas, Louise Hederstrom.

Belgian interior designer Jessy Van Durme and photographer Piet-Albert Goethals have been visiting those Scandinavian design studios. They talked to them about design, work, the making etc. and produced a book and an exhibition. The images serve as support for additional information on the topics, visions and concepts behind the objects on show. The displayed objects and the exhibition design in 2D and 3D aims to show the overall atmosphere and philosophy of the designers and their time in the workshop.
