The desk lamp is transformed into a light sculpture.
What was once steel and sheet metal is resurrected as a paraphrase of both the Anglepoise lamp of the 1930s and the rice lamps popularised in Sweden in the 1970s.
– I love the material, being able to create a lamp out of paper,” exclaims Alexander Lervik. Ori is something of a small sculpture, a bit like a fairy taking shape in the mist. The entire interior is filled with small LED lamps that provide an evenly distributed light. Ori is available in three sizes.
