White Arkitekter has designed the Studio table series for Lundbergs Möbler, a response to the industry’s growing demand for measurable climate data alongside aesthetic integrity.
The series employs a radical reduction methodology: through-tenon joinery and residual timber construction minimize waste while maximizing stability and refinement.

Lundbergs Möbler’s Studio is one of the company’s most resource-efficient tables. With low material use and a high proportion of timber, it achieves the lowest climate impact in the collection, verified by third-party environmental product declarations (EPDs). As Olof Nordenson, product designer and interior architect at White Arkitekter, notes: “The right to bring new products to market isn’t something we can take for granted. To defend our design, we must constantly find smarter, more resource-efficient ways to construct – we simply have to do more with less.”

Studio is available in three shapes—rectangular, round, and trapezoid—all crafted from timber with customizable configurations. The leg attachment, made from residual raw material, eliminates waste while emphasizing the elegance of the construction. The through tenon, used as an educational marker, gives each table a unique character and communicates its sustainable heritage.
Studio R, V, and C are declared under Möbelfakta for public environments, including school settings. All tables come with a 5-year warranty and a 10-year spare parts warranty—commitments that reflect White Arkitekter’s focus on long-term durability and user satisfaction.
White Arkitekter is known for environmental commitment throughout its practice. The design team works exclusively on developing products for a circular and sustainable future. Together with colleagues August Hugoson and Kristofer Jonsson, Nordenson developed the Studio table, redefining what a circular table can be.
