Uni Large is a conference table designed by Axel Bjurström for Materia, now expanded with new formats that extend its flexibility for different meeting environments.

The additions include a circular base and elliptical table tops — two configurations that complement the existing range and give specifiers more options when planning meeting spaces of varying size, shape and character.

The table is available in several formats and finishes, with powder coating in Materia’s Stand in Colours range giving access to a broad palette of surface options.

Practical accessories include a cable lid and electrical and USB sockets, integrating the connectivity requirements of contemporary meeting rooms directly into the table’s structure without the need for additional components.

The expansion of Uni Large reflects a design approach centred on adaptability: a table system that can address the range of situations a modern workplace presents, from formal boardroom meetings to less structured collaborative sessions. The circular base and elliptical top introduce shapes that are less directional than rectangular formats, encouraging a more equal distribution of attention around the table.
