Ingridsdotter Presents Jonas Bohlin Furniture in Sahco Textiles by Bengt Thornefors
Ingridsdotter presents an exhibition during Stockholm Design Week showcasing Jonas Bohlin’s iconic furniture designs reinterpreted in textiles from Sahco, under the creative direction of Bengt Thornefors.
This marks the first time Bohlin’s significant pieces have been reimagined in Sahco’s sophisticated textile collection.

The exhibition, designed by Agnès Rosa Beckman, transforms Bohlin’s furniture into sculptural objects within an intimate gallery setting. Central to the presentation is the relaunch of Bohlin’s Point chair, accompanied by other iconic pieces upholstered in textiles from Sahco’s 2026 collection. The installation creates a dialogue between material, legacy, and renewal.
Bengt Thornefors, who serves as Creative Director at Sahco, has developed the textile interpretations as part of the company’s 2026 collection. This collection explores the interplay between light and surface, structure and illusion, reinterpreting Sahco’s design language through yarns, textures, and colors.
Sahco, a textile house with nearly 200 years of history, has been owned by Kvadrat since 2018. The company’s upholstery textiles and draperies are recognized for their rich textures and refined details, combining classic design with innovation. Under Thornefors’ creative direction, Sahco continues to set standards in the interior textile industry.
Jonas Bohlin, known for designs including the Concrete Chair and collaborations with Källemo and Nola, represents a significant voice in Swedish furniture design. The exhibition at Ingridsdotter Studio demonstrates how his work continues to evolve through new material interpretations.
The exhibition is photographed by Elizabeth Heltoft Arnby and remains on view at Ingridsdotter Studio, Fredsgatan 12 / Jakobsgatan 27C, Floor 4, Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 to 16:00, with appointments available outside regular hours.
