Carmel Bistro Dining Table

GUBI’s new Carmel Bistro Tables from OEO Studio blend the Californian-inspired vibrancy of their coffee tables with the timeless elegance of European café culture. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the durable and resilient tables are perfect for both casual gatherings and formal occasions. Like the Carmel Coffee Tables, each features a 75×75 cm tabletop in glazed Italian stoneware, supported by a tree-like assembly of four semi matt black stainless steel legs. Available in two heights: lounge and dining; and two colorways: Red Rock and Clam White, Carmel Bistro Tables bring a sophisticated café charm to every setting.

Bold, compact, and full of character, the new additions to GUBI’s Carmel Table Collection by OEO Studio combine the casual-chic style of European dining with the carefree Californian vibe that first inspired the Carmel design. Elevating the signature ceramic Carmel tabletop to new heights, the new bistro tables cater to both street-side caféstyle dining and the laid-back elegance of pool terraces
and hotel lobbies. Blending fun and function, the Carmel Bistro Collection brings timeless character and dynamic adaptability to homes and gardens of every size and style.

COSMOPOLITAN SOPHISTICATION

Bistro furniture captures the allure of cosmopolitan sophistication, evoking the vibrant café culture and casual outdoor-dining experiences of iconic European cities such as Paris, Rome, and Barcelona. Bringing the charm of a bustling street-side café into the home, it provides an effortless and elegant way to create an inviting atmosphere of casual ease. Whether tucked into a cozy indoor nook or placed on an airy garden terrace, a bistro table introduces a touch of easygoing yet refined romance, transforming the space into a destination for leisurely dining and conversation.

HIGH-SHINE GLAZE IN TWO COLORWAYS

The tabletops are finished with a smooth, high-gloss glaze, hand-sprayed onto the surface while the ceramic is drying and before it is fired, giving a rich, textured depth that enhances its expressive materiality. The glossy surface of the ceramic catches the light, showcasing the vivid luster of the two colorways: a warm and earthy Rock Red and a subtle, versatile Clam White, further enriched by the shimmer of minerals applied to the surface and brought to life in the furnace.

ROBUST & RESILIENT

With a rounded, pebble-like silhouette, the tabletop is mounted on a set of slender, semi-matt black legs in stainless steel, a material chosen for its strength, durability, and suitability for outdoor use of the boutique-hotel lobby, cocktail lounge, or pool terrace. Both sizes echo the design of their coffee-table counterparts, with the same generously proportioned ceramic tabletop, handcrafted from single-fired Italian stoneware, a material prized for its hard-wearing nature and resistance to weather and heat. The Carmel Bistro Tables are therefore not only elegant but also robust, resilient, and made to stand the test of time.
