Cross is a side and coffee table designed by Helene Tiedemann for Jonas Ihreborn, introduced in February 2016.

The design is built on a straightforward proposition: a slim glass top carried by a slender metal frame, achieving airiness through the reduction of material mass rather than through formal complexity.

The table is available in two sizes, with black as the standard colour.

The combination of glass and slender metal is a recurring structural idea in minimal furniture design, but Cross applies it with particular discipline. The frame is lean enough that the table reads primarily as a surface hovering at a given height, with the supporting structure receding visually. This quality makes the table a useful companion piece to more substantial upholstered seating — it occupies minimal visual space while providing practical surface area.

Cross was presented alongside other Helene Tiedemann pieces for Ihreborn, including the Blob modular sofa, and fits within the wider Ihreborn collection as a table that can function across lounge, reception, and hospitality settings.

Helene Tiedemann is a Swedish designer whose collaboration with Jonas Ihreborn spans a substantial body of work, including the Blob sofa, Talk seating series, Story, and Play table.
