Floors & Books is a series of three carpets in tufted wool, featuring a smooth cut pile.
They are designed for easier adaptation in terms of pattern and resizing within a room.
The collection is a new take on our beloved Tibetan knotted carpet “Biblioteket”, designed by Emma Olbers for the former public library at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm in 2018.
The pattern references floorboards or rows of books, interpreted in different ways. The colour palette is the same as in Biblioteket, with the addition of a few new accents of green. The Floors & Books carpets are tufted in 100% New Zealand wool.
